Unlike regular PTSD, which often stems from a single traumatic event, Complex PTSD arises from repeated harm over time. the emotional and mental abuse in my toxic relationship worsened my condition and left lasting scars. This trauma significantly impacts my relationships, my reactions to challenges, and my self-worth.

Complex PTSD brings many struggles, such as constant fear or shame, trust issues, emotional flashbacks, and feeling stuck in survival mode. As a result, these effects can overwhelm me. Yet, unexpectedly, motherhood transformed me. It forced me to confront my patterns, not for myself, but for my child. Although facing my trauma has been tough, it taught me that healing is possible. Indeed, growth often springs from our deepest pain.
